Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC)

When looking for complementary health practitioners, the Department of Health recommends those who are CNHC registered.

CNHC is approved by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care, which provides additional assurance that registrants meet UK-wide standards of patient safety and service quality.

The General Medical Council (GMC) guidance states that Doctors are able to refer patients to CNHC registered practitioners. Patients who have private healthcare, can often claim for the cost of their treatments through their provider.
